About the product
XAB’s XC series standard filters, which collect dust in 240-litre bags for light to medium-duty dust, can be easily adapted to each user’s specific requirements. The filters always have the same base unit with a sack trolley and a 240-litre cardboard sack, but are available in five different sizes in terms of filter area. The smallest model, the XC160, has a 60 cm filter and a filter area of 1 m², whilst the largest model, the XC260, has a 160 cm filter and a filter area of 2.5 m². Multiple filters can be combined with the same fan unit for large-scale requirements. For customers with greater collection requirements, there are variants with collection in a 600-litre container, BigBag, or units with a transport fan that can blow the dust on to a destination of your choice.

Function description
The filter units are used as so-called negative-pressure filters, and the dust-laden air enters
the filter unit via one of the inlets at the top, where the air velocity is reduced and coarse particles are separated
the dust bag. The finest airborne dust is filtered through the filter, after which the purified air is conveyed to
selected fan unit.

Examples of areas of use include woodwork rooms, joinery workshops, and vocational colleges specialising in construction,
orthopaedic workshops, bakeries, the printing industry, laboratories and the plastics industry.
