Function description
\nThe filter units are used as so-called negative-pressure filters, and the dust-laden air enters
\nthe filter unit via one of the inlets at the top, where the air velocity is reduced and coarse particles are separated
\nthe dust bag. The finest airborne dust is filtered through the filter, after which the purified air is conveyed to
\nselected fan unit.

XAB\u2019s XC series standard filters, which collect dust in 240-litre bags for light to medium-duty dust, can be easily adapted to each user\u2019s specific requirements. The filters always have the same base unit with a sack trolley and a 240-litre cardboard sack, but are available in five different sizes in terms of filter area. The smallest model, the XC160, has a 60 cm filter and a filter area of 1 m\u00b2, whilst the largest model, the XC260, has a 160 cm filter and a filter area of 2.5 m\u00b2. Multiple filters can be combined with the same fan unit for large-scale requirements.
